Household and Childcare Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to assist with household tasks and family support.

  • Perform all household cleaning duties, including tidying and basic maintenance, and wiping down cars using waterless products. Ensure the home remains in an orderly state at all times.
  • Manage laundry, including washing, folding, and organizing clothes. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the laundry area.
  • Handle grocery orders and general cooking for the household. Prepare nutritious meals for family members.
  • Tidy up to maintain a clean and organized environment. This includes dusting, vacuuming, and taking out the trash.
  • Spray weeds and perform basic gardening tasks as needed. Ensure the garden remains well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Assist with childcare of one 6-year-old boy, including preparation of school lunches, homework, some pick-up/drop-off, and other activities. Develop a strong bond with the child and provide a safe and nurturing environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.

  • Able to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
