Production Coordinator/Merchandiser Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Production Coordinator/Merchandiser to manage the receipt and organization of pre-production and shipping samples, as well as maintain accurate shipment details and ETA's.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tracking and managing sample storage room and assisting with range set up for business meetings and showings
  • Organizing samples and model bookings and image collation during weekly fittings
  • Raising, issuing and updating purchase orders, ensuring all PO's are linked
  • Cross checking prices, categories and supplier details
  • Liaising with overseas factories daily to answer questions and provide comments on requests within 24 hours
  • Developing and maintaining fabric, trim and labelling libraries to manage supplier submissions
  • Translation of ongoing communication related to garment production
  • Managing faulty items and re-call procedures
  • Managing courier and post across design and production teams

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in similar role/industry is highly regarded
  • Mandarin and English speaking skills are essential
