Are you a dynamic people leader, wanting to spearhead enterprise risk and compliance management? Collaborate with executives, uplift and embed frameworks, and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role will see you working closely with senior executives to ensure that the Fund's risk, compliance and financial crime management policies, procedures and frameworks are implemented effectively to manage and mitigate risk exposure.

You will develop and embed the ongoing process for the identification, management and reporting of emerging risks and compliance obligations.

Cross team collaboration will be important to ensure effective and efficient risk and compliance oversight as well as identification of ongoing improvements to the Risk, AML/CTF and Compliance Management Frameworks.

The Strategic Risk Management Lead will play a lead role in supporting the Board, CEO and Group Executive in the Fund's strategic and business planning activities and ongoing assessment of risk and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and presenting enterprise risk and compliance reporting on second line management practices and emerging risks
  • Coaching and supporting the Risk team across Melbourne and Adelaide to deliver the Risk and Compliance business plan
  • Working closely with the Head of Investment Risk and Compliance

For this role, you will bring significant industry experience from within the financial services sector in a risk and compliance management role coupled with strong experience in a strategic leadership role. You will have hands-on experience in the design and development of risk and compliance management frameworks and strategies as well as their embedment.

You will hold qualifications in risk, compliance and leadership with a degree in a relevant discipline.
