Assistant Jewellery Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Jewellery Sales Manager.

About the Role

This role involves assisting in the management of our jewellery sales department, building strong customer relationships through excellent service and complaints resolution, driving sales through effective merchandising and promotional activities, managing the operation of the department, the flow of goods, and improving employee efficiency, providing feedback to staff about performance and expectations, and preparing sales and retail-related reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building Strong Customer Relationships: Provide exceptional customer service, resolve customer complaints, and build trust with customers to drive repeat business.
  • Driving Sales: Develop and implement effective merchandising and promotional strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Department Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the jewellery sales department, including inventory management, stock control, and staff supervision.
  • Employee Development: Provide regular feedback and coaching to staff members to improve their performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present sales and retail-related reports to management to inform business decisions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of solid working experience in the retail industry, preferably with 4 years in jewellery or management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work Saturdays and Sundays on a rotational roster.
