Key Responsibilities- Provide technical analysis and guidance to support disaster adaptation planning, ensuring that strategic planning and policy decisions are informed by accurate flood and coastal risk management data.
- Develop and implement new technical methodologies or approaches drawing on contemporary research and practice.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from technical and non-technical backgrounds to build rapport and convey complex concepts to various audiences.
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, coastal geomorphology, geography, geoscience, hydrology, hydraulic modeling, engineering, or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in assessing and managing flood and coastal risks.
- Highly skilled in communicating, both orally and in writing, for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project management experience in planning and delivering projects relating to flood and coastal risks.
- Collaboration and engagement skills, including the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
