Academic Pharmacist

As a lecturer you will have a developing research or scholarship profile, highly committed to undertaking innovative and efficient teaching, and actively supervise honours and postgraduate research student projects.

We are seeking an academic who has the skills and expertise to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in pharmacy practice and therapeutics, foster an outstanding student experience, and encourage active participation in learning and teaching.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching pharmacy practice and therapeutics courses
• Fostering a student-centric approach to learning and teaching
• Developing and implementing innovative teaching methods
• Supervising research student projects

The ideal candidate will have a strong research profile and be able to conduct research with potential impact on policy and practice in the wider community.

We are looking for an individual with a PhD in pharmacy or a related field, with a strong track record of research and teaching experience.

Applicants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

A willingness to engage in professional development and stay up-to-date with current developments in the field is essential.
