The Life and Private Health Insurance Division is responsible for prudentially supervising life insurers, private health insurers, and superannuation funds. The division identifies and investigates risks and issues to achieve a stable financial system.
The team assesses the quality of management strategies and systems, performs preliminary analysis, and supports delivery of engagements with supervised organisations.
Adaptability, flexibility, and strong analytical skills are required to identify potential problems and share findings with senior supervisors.
About You:- A naturally inquisitive mindset complemented by strong analytical, investigative, and research skills
- Excellent organisational, self, and priority management skills
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Life insurance and/or Private Health insurance industry knowledge and curiosity to learn
- Up-to-date with financial market trends
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
This role offers an opportunity to develop a range of financial/non-financial analysis and other supervisory skills. Adapt your style and process depending on the organisation and be flexible to deal with differences in approach.
