Job Overview:

The Advisory Visiting Teacher plays a pivotal role in providing expert guidance and support to education teams. Their primary objective is to empower staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to develop and deliver high-quality teaching programs tailored to meet the needs of students with low incidence disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with education teams to devise and implement effective strategies for delivering quality teaching and learning programs.
  • Provide comprehensive advice and support to ensure alignment with the Australian Curriculum, relevant frameworks, departmental policies, and evidence-based practices.
  • Work closely with teachers and education staff to create inclusive learning environments that promote access, participation, engagement, and achievement for all students.

Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Current full or provisional registration with QCT
  • A current driver's licence, as regular travel is required for this role
