**About the Role**

As a school principal, you will play a vital role in shaping the education system of Tasmania.

You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational outcomes for students.

Your leadership skills, vision, and expertise will guide your actions as you foster a growth mindset culture, drive change, and improve educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational outcomes for students.
  • Develop and implement school improvement plans aligned with the department's strategic priorities.
  • Model and foster a growth mindset culture that promotes continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Drive change and improve educational outcomes for every student.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Registration to work with vulnerable people.
  • Full registration as a registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
  • Satisfactory completion of the School Leadership and Management Prerequisites (SLMP).
  • Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.
