We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Second Line Operational Risk Team at Macquarie Bank Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our Operational Risk profiles and driving change in our Non-Financial Risk Management culture.
As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for providing oversight over new business initiatives, identifying and managing material Operational Risks within our Cyber, Technology, Information Security, and Supplier Risk Team.
Key Responsibilities- Review and challenge the scope and outcome of business risk reporting, targeted assessments, significant incidents, key risk indications, project, and assurance activities.
- Provide training and awareness of key risk management policies and contribute to projects to deliver our overall Operational Risk Strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate Operational Risks.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in on Operational Risk initiatives.
- Proven Operational Risk Management experience in a Line 1 or Line 2 capacity.
- Prior experience in a control function, assurance, or internal/external audit role, gained within a financial or professional services firm.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to uncover hidden insights and form an independent view of the risk profile across the organization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
