Job Title: Data Analytics Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forensic Data Analytics professional to lead the technical design and development of analysis models to identify and quantify wage compliance risks.

This is an opportunity for a passionate data analyst who is driven by purpose and precision to make a real difference in people's lives. Payroll data analytics isn't just about numbers, it's about ensuring every worker receives their fair entitlements.

The successful candidate will have the primary responsibility of leading small teams of data analysts, including task assignment and quality review. They will work closely with subject matter specialists to understand business requirements for modelling, including resolution of ambiguous requirements and identification of relevant data sources.

The key aspects of this role include:

  • Developing SQL, Alteryx or Excel data models to analyze large and complex payroll and time & attendance data.
  • Translating complex business and legal requirements into technical specifications for analysis and preparation of written reports / methodologies for presentation to regulators and legal representatives.
  • Leading project management activities, including task assignment, quality review and coaching junior team members.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience in payroll and time & attendance data analysis, and a proven track record of leading small teams of data analysts. A background in professional services is preferred, along with tertiary qualifications in a combination of business disciplines (e.g., finance, accounting, law) and technical disciplines (e.g., engineering, IT, computing).
