About the Role
Harris Farm Markets is seeking an experienced butcher to join our pre-pack team. As a butcher and pre-packer, you will be responsible for breaking down pigs and lamb carcasses, cutting and trimming quality meat, and developing innovative value-added products.
Key Responsibilities
- Break down pigs and lamb carcasses
- Cutting and trimming quality meat
- Developing innovative value-added products
- Providing high-quality customer service
Requirements
- Experience as a qualified butcher or similar role
- Ability to work in a low-wastage business
- Willingness to coach and train aspiring butchers
- Commitment to customer service and providing an amazing experience
- Passion for meat and sharing that passion with customers
