Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Our organization requires a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to join our dedicated maintenance team. This specialist will work closely with the maintenance supervisor to maintain and repair fixed and portable equipment, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely.

About the Role

This full-time position is based in Avon (Northam) but may require movement throughout receival sites. Occasional travel may be necessary to support maintenance activities across other regional sites.

Standard shifts are Monday to Friday, with an element of on-call required from time to time.

  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment, including elevators, conveyors, and machinery
  • Diagnosing and fault-finding PLC-controlled equipment, which includes elevators and conveyors, trippers, and dust systems
  • Completing administrative tasks that align with the maintenance function
  • Providing electrical assistance to remote receival sites in the Avon zone
  • Interpreting electrical schematics and genset powered assets
Key Requirements
  • Holding a current WA Electrical Workers Licence and an unrestricted Drivers Licence
  • A strong safety focus, and commitment to safe work practices
  • Work at heights, confined spaces, EWP, and forklift licence (desirable)
  • Ability to work in high grain dust concentrations
  • Experience navigating computerised maintenance systems
  • Current hazardous area installation certification (desirable)
  • SAP experience (desirable)
