Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for experienced ICU or HDU trained Registered Nurses to join our team at Newcastle Private Hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the nursing team, and contributing to the development of evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Demonstrate professional practice, adhering to AHPRA standards, legislative requirements, and Healthscope's policies and processes.
- Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations and supervision of peers, ENs, graduates, and students.
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to team processes and practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- 5+ years experience in an acute surgical or cardiac ward setting.
- Post Graduate Certificate in ICU, HDU, or CCU (or working towards).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
