Administrative Support Role

This position plays a vital part in the Child and Adolescent Unit by providing efficient administrative services to patients and visitors, while ensuring confidentiality at all times.


Main Responsibilities
  • Offer professional and welcoming reception to patients and visitors within the unit.
  • Provide general clerical support for ward staff, respecting confidentiality at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience as an administrative clerk at a healthcare facility is required.
  • The ability to effectively combine administrative tasks and client interaction is essential.
  • A demonstrated understanding of medical terminology is necessary.
  • Proficiency in i PM, Oracle, Concerto, and BEIMS software is mandatory.
  • Strong verbal, writing, and typing skills, with a minimum of 60 WPM are expected.
  • A working knowledge of Working with Children's Check requirements is also necessary.
