The Director of Curriculum and Learning will oversee the implementation of the Junior School strategic plan and lead curriculum design and delivery. This role will involve leading curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives, contributing to the vision of the State Schools Division, enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, and fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Junior School Leadership team to shape and implement strategic planning and foster a positive collegial culture within the Junior School">
  • Lead the development, implementation, and review of specified curriculum programs, Junior School initiatives, and activities">
  • Lead the development, implementation, and review of teaching and learning strategies in specified programs">
  • Contribute to the development of workforce capability through leadership of specified professional development and targeted coaching and mentoring of staff">
  • Undertake specified administrative tasks">
  • Participate in, provide advice, and represent the Junior School in the P-12 College, Culture of Learning strategic pillar">
