**Job Summary**

Workforce Australia for Individuals is seeking an experienced Production Excavator Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, instructing and organizing other machines, and ensuring the efficient loading of dump trucks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate excavators in a production environment, following dig plans and ensuring accurate loading of dump trucks.
  • Instruct and organize other ancillary machines on the pit floor, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Monitor and control the movement of dump trucks, ensuring timely and efficient loading.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to achieve production goals and objectives.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in operating heavy equipment, preferably in iron ore or gold mining.
  • Strong understanding of dig plans and ability to read and interpret them.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

**What We Offer:**

  • A competitive hourly rate up to $75.
  • A 2:1 or 2:2 roster, with the option to work FIFO from Perth.
  • The opportunity to work on an ongoing temp to perm basis, with the potential to move into a permanent position.
