Aircraft Maintenance Technician Role

Job Overview:

  • This is a skilled position for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician who has experience working on Falcon or corporate jet and/or military aircraft airframe maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and/or electronic systems on all models of Falcon Jet corporate aircraft.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and appearance in interactions with customers, guests, and coworkers.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with Quality Control systems and procedures relative to the scope of assigned duties.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, specifically CFR parts 43, 91, and 145; and 135 as required.
  • Complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms according to outlined methods.
  • Support Aircraft Crew Chief with shift turnover requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Project Supervisor to achieve timely and budget-friendly objectives.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices using a 5S system.
  • Foster a safe work environment by focusing on Human Factors and striving for zero defects in workmanship and safety.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating.
  • Minimum three years' experience in business jet maintenance environment, preferably on Falcon aircraft.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • APU Operation qualified.
  • Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • No allergies to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and cleaning solvents.
  • Ability to work and bend in confined spaces.
  • Manual dexterity required for technician tasks.
  • Ability to enter and exit aircraft repeatedly using stationary steps/stairs.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in using computers and aircraft software.
  • FAA Inspection Authorization (Desired).
  • Successful completion of at least one Falcon Initial Maintenance School (Desired).
  • Engine Run & Taxi qualified on business jet aircraft, preferably on Falcon aircraft (Desired).
