About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Queensland Health. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of clinical practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the identification, development, implementation, and review of clinical practices, procedures, and protocols in work areas using the principles of evidence-based practice under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Apply independent clinical judgment to complex decision making under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of senior staff.
  • Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the team and by engaging in professional development activities, including completing and maintaining mandatory training requirements, participating in performance appraisal and development plans.
  • Demonstrate a competent level of clinical knowledge and skill in delivering group and individual therapeutic services to patients within the mental health setting.
