About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Kmart Group. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring that our stores are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock is accurately received, stored, and displayed
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless store operations and customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a big box or high-volume retail environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive shopping experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
