We are seeking a highly skilled Chef to join our Catering team at Blakeney Lodge in Tumut, New South Wales.

About the Opportunity:

• We offer a competitive hourly rate of $33.28 + superannuation for this casual position.

The Role:

• You will be responsible for preparing fresh and nutritious meals for our residents, taking into account their dietary needs.
• You will manage all resources within the kitchen, including equipment and food supplies, within an approved budget.
• Maintain a hygienically clean kitchen that is fully compliant with the Aged Care quality standards.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is essential for this role.
• Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate is also required.
• You should have good communication skills and be able to interact with a wide variety of people.
• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly are a must.
