Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to work in the mining sector, servicing and maintaining large-scale mobile equipment. As a Heavy Diesel Field and Breakdown Fitter, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, repairs and breakdown services on Liebherr and Komatsu excavators.
Key Responsibilities- Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
- Conducting thorough inspections to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
- Using technical information from reference manuals and OEM systems to troubleshoot complex problems.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards throughout the workplace.
- A Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Certificate III Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or similar qualification.
- Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry is essential.
- Demonstrated experience with Liebherr and CAT large earthmoving equipment is highly beneficial.
