About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Water Management Operations Supervisor to oversee the safe, effective, and timely maintenance of our water network assets. This role will support a team in maintaining the integrity of our water infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting Zero Harm principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the installation and removal of sump pumps and submersible bore pumps, as well as saline injection and pond monitoring and compliance activities.
  • Provide leadership in safety, promoting positive safety behaviors and conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster growth and skill development, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles.
  • Evaluate contractors' performance and ensure they meet required standards and agreements.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Conduct performance reviews to support team success and individual progression, identifying areas for growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience in water management, with a thorough understanding of pit dewatering operations, including the use of sump pumps and bore pumps.
  • Proven leadership and coaching abilities, with a strong track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
