We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team at Workforce Australia for Individuals. As a Dietitian - Nutrition and Health Promotion Specialist, you will play a critical role in leading our nutrition and health promotion programs, conducting local and outreach services, and delivering clinical dietetic, preventive health, and nutrition interventions for the management of chronic disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nutrition and health promotion programs to support the management of chronic disease
- Conduct local and outreach services in a wide range of settings, including schools and community groups
- Deliver clinical dietetic, preventive health, and nutrition interventions for the management of chronic disease
- Develop and deliver health promotion activities with an emphasis on illness prevention, through community-wide and group-based activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the development and implementation of chronic disease prevention and management strategies
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics or a related field
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Dietitian
- Experience in developing and implementing nutrition and health promotion programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
