Master Automotive Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Automotive Technician to join our team in New York State. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical systems on various types of vehicles and equipment.
About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong foundation in automotive and diesel repair technologies. You will work independently and as part of a team to diagnose faults, perform repairs, and conduct routine maintenance on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and correct faulty vehicle and equipment operation
- Overhaul, adjust, and repair gaseous fuel engines, clutches, transmissions, and differentials
- Conduct NYS inspections and maintain accurate records
- Effectively utilize department fleet management software and DOT electronic systems
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in automotive or diesel repair technology, including experience with diagnosis and repair of complex mechanical systems. You must also be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
