The Academic Pathway Program offers a unique opportunity for Indigenous academics to develop their expertise in their field of research through an individualised career development plan over a 4 year, fixed term period.
We offer dedicated support, cultural leave, and professional development opportunities, while securing a position within a relevant Faculty or Research Institute to your discipline of study.
This program is designed to create meaningful career progression within one of Australia's leading universities.">

Key Responsibilities

">
As a research focused academic, you will be supported and guided by more senior academic research staff with the expectation of an increasing degree of autonomy over time.
You must have an emerging research profile in the discipline area, or hold a PhD (or be in the final stages of completion) with a developing profile in research in the discipline area.
The successful candidate will be required to provide evidence to confirm that they are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
