About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director to lead our Injury Liability Claims team. As a key member of our Claims leadership team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring that claims are handled in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Claims Management: Oversee the management of injury liability claims, ensuring that they are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Team Development: Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity, ensuring that the team is equipped to handle complex claims.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are informed of progress.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, implementing changes as needed to ensure that the team is operating at its best.
Requirements
  • Extensive Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in injury liability claims, with a strong background in technical leadership and claims management.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve its goals.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, with the ability to analyze complex claims and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
