About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned operational leader to spearhead our fulfilment operations department. As Fulfilment Operations Manager, you will be responsible for implementing improvements, new processes, and technologies to enhance the customer and co-worker experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and executing strategic plans to drive operational excellence in end-to-end fulfilment operations.
  2. Fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Fulfilment Integration team, unit management, support functions, and external transport/service providers.
  3. Ensuring compliance with IKEA's code of conduct, standard operating procedures, and local legislation related to health, safety, and security.
  4. Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing Fulfilment Operations team, cultivating communication, flexibility, and inclusivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A sound understanding of customer fulfilment performance monitoring and influencing factors.
  • Proficiency in working methods that ensure operational excellence in Fulfilment Operations, collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Previous experience demonstrating strong leadership skills and the initiative to coach diverse teams.
  • An extensive understanding of end-to-end supply chains alongside supply chain methods, policies, and requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of all relevant standard operating procedures for Customer Fulfilment, prioritising the safety of co-workers and customers.
