The role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in the mining and maintenance industries. Our clients are offering an 8:6 FIFO roster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repair of fixed plant processing equipment in gold or iron ore.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to achieve production targets.
  • Participate in a rotational roster, including night shifts and weekends.
Requirements
  • A Mechanical trade certification.
  • Previous FIFO experience.
  • Previous experience in maintenance and repair of fixed plant processing equipment in gold or iron ore is highly valued.
  • High risk work licence.
  • Working at heights ticket.
  • Minimum C class driver's license.
  • Safety minded practices applied to real-life work.
  • Ability to pass medical + drug and alcohol screen.
  • Willingness to get a national police clearance.
