Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate and Commercial Attorney to spearhead our Mergers & Acquisitions division. This opportunity presents a unique chance to engage in high-calibre transactions within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in corporate advisory, with a strong understanding of mergers and acquisitions. You will be responsible for managing various projects within the M&A space, providing critical support on transactions and drafting commercial agreements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Acting as lead counsel for buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions, including conducting thorough due diligence.
  • Providing expert advice on general commercial and corporations law matters.
  • Drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
  • Advising on corporate restructuring, governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Liaising with clients seeking approval from regulators, including FIRB, ACCC, and ASIC.
  • Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives, as well as legal precedents.
  • Mentoring junior lawyers and law graduates.
