Position Overview
In this role, you will report to Partner Greg Midgley, who leads our commercial practice in Darwin, alongside two Senior Associates, handling a wide array of front-end legal matters. Greg and his team are instrumental in assisting clients with some of the Territory's most notable projects and commercial issues. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing diverse commercial issues encompassing general commercial, property transactions, and major project initiatives.
- Engaging with clients from various sectors, with support to enhance your local professional profile.
- Demonstrating your commercial expertise while honing your drafting and transactional capabilities.
- Collaborating with a cohesive team in Darwin and working closely with Clayton Utz's leading industry teams nationally.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- 2-4 years of post-qualification experience from a reputable front-end legal practice.
- Familiarity with property law transactions and PEXA is preferred.
- A diligent approach complemented by strong academic achievements.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional client service and fostering effective relationships.
