Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting nursing staff in delivering patient care
  • Undertaking basic nursing duties, such as vital sign checks and medication administration
  • Assisting with patient transfers and mobility
  • Providing emotional support to patients and their families
Requirements:
  • Enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in nursing or midwifery, or
  • Employed on the basis that the person is, or will be, undertaking a course approved by the Registration Authority for the preparation of Enrolled Nurses, or
  • Holding a Certificate III or IV in a health-related discipline, such as Basic Health Care, Aged Care, or Health Services Assistance
