Job Opportunity: Maintenance and Test Services

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance and Test Services professional to join our team at Raytheon Australia. As a key member of our Woomera Test Range Support Services (WTRSS) program, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our communication and mission systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision of specialist maintenance services to telemetry and communications equipment, including light grade and heavy grade maintenance as defined by the equipment maintenance processes.
  • Deployment and operation of Instrumentation Trailers across the Woomera Test Range in support of defence trials.
  • Producing maintenance reports, meeting key performance indicators for technical compliance, and contributing to system health indicators for production and program management.
  • Provision of configuration management support to selected mission systems.
  • Provision of support activities for breakdown spares, repairable items, and support and test equipment.
  • Providing technical support in the conduct of engineering and maintenance services and activities for the customer.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Electronics or Telecommunications is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in the application of radio frequency and communication equipment.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in electrical and data interface standards and protocols.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in operating systems/server systems/network protocols.
  • Knowledge of the Defence Technical Regulatory Framework.
