About the Role:

As a Web Developer at SafetyCulture, you will be responsible for implementing marketing strategic initiatives across our suite of websites. Working closely with our website product owner, designers, developers, and marketers, you will help develop delightful web experiences that help convert prospects into customers.

About You:
  • 5+ years of experience developing websites in a high-paced environment, such as an agency or start-up
  • A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, Multimedia, Web Development, or related field
  • Proficiency in web development in TypeScript. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and web services. Experience with GraphQL is highly desired
  • Well-versed in Headless CMS architecture, and proven experience building with Content Management Systems
  • A good working knowledge of UI, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience optimizing websites for search engines
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience implementing accessibility features
  • Proficiency in performance optimization techniques to ensure fast-loading and responsive websites
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools (GIT)
