This is an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses to join our team as Locum Mental Health Registered Nurses, working in community, inpatient, acute, and other specialist areas across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acute Mental Health: Support patients in crisis, stabilise urgent presentations, and work closely with emergency teams to provide timely interventions.
  • Inpatient Units: Provide day-to-day clinical care, administer medications, and assist patients on their recovery journey, promoting independence and self-management.
  • Community Mental Health: Deliver case management, assessments, and support plans, building strong connections with local communities and empowering individuals to take control of their mental health.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA without restrictions.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in mental health nursing, including case management, crisis intervention, and patient-centered care.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
  • Transportation: A valid driver's license for regional and remote roles.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to commit to travel nursing contracts in regional/remote areas for at least 12 weeks.
