About the Role -

This role is responsible for working with other workshop personnel to ensure all machinery is serviced and maintained to the highest standard with minimal disruption to production.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Carry out repairs and maintenance in accordance with training and qualifications to the best of your ability;
  • Carry out work in a safe and efficient manner as directed by the Workshop Supervisor;
  • Carry out vehicle servicing on a regular basis as instructed;
  • Ensure S.O.S. samples are taken as required and processed;
  • Diagnose, repair and report all faults;
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies and attend regular safety meetings;
  • Maintain a neat, clean and safe work area;
  • Work with other team members to foster good teamwork and create an operation of which all can be proud.;
  • Support, mentor or train others where appropriate to improve the efficiency of the operation;
  • Immediately report any suspected mechanical defect;
  • Other duties appropriate to the position as required and directed by Management.

Requirements -

  • Must be a qualified tradesperson;
  • Proven experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of heavy earthmoving mobile equipment;
  • Pre-employment medical and clear Drug and Alcohol Screen;
  • Compliance with Company Drug and Alcohol and Fitness for Work policies;
  • Participation in random Drug and Alcohol testing/screening at any time whilst at work;
  • Ability to wear all required PPE;
  • Good communication skills written and verbal;
  • Physically mobile and reasonable level of fitness;
  • Able to work at heights or in confined spaces;
  • Ability to work in remote locations as required;
  • A commitment to work within Titan Plant Hire Pty Ltd's Quality Management Systems and to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standard and in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Current motor vehicle drivers licence WA/NT 'HR' class; (and or equivalent)
  • First Aid Certificate; and
  • Training modules for plant, equipment and trades learning.

Salary - $50,000 to $80,000
