About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Configuration Analyst to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our IT service management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Advance Shipping Notice files from vendors to ensure accurate data entry.
  • Develop and monitor Asset & Configuration Item (CI) data health reports/dashboards to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Maintain Asset & CMDB data quality to meet established target metrics.
  • Develop, document, and implement CI data audits to address any issues that arise.
  • Ensure CIs are created or updated using approved processes and procedures.
  • Manage tickets logged and assigned to the Enterprise Asset & Configuration Management queue.
  • Collaborate with One IT teams to ensure the accuracy of asset and configuration information.
  • Onboard new infrastructure devices into the CMDB, ensuring all attributes are recorded accurately.
  • Process office closure asset and configuration requests.
  • Monitor & analyze data to discover and resolve asset and configuration discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Clear understanding of the ITIL framework and ability to apply ITIL principles.
  • Solid knowledge and experience of Service Now.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong data management, data analysis, and data visualization skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and build efficient working relationships.
