We are seeking enthusiastic Allied Health Assistants (Lifestyle Officers) to join our team at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network Hampstead Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Lifestyle Activity Coordinator to plan and deliver group sessions that focus on supporting and maintaining the functional abilities of our patients.
- Work closely with allied health professionals to deliver targeted care as needed.
- Facilitate group-based programs on a flexible 7-day roster.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Allied Health Assistant (Lifestyle Officer) who brings a collaborative approach and a commitment to quality care.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and build trust within a diverse, multidisciplinary team and with patients from various cultural backgrounds.
- Adaptability and Accountability: Proven ability to take initiative, handle routine tasks efficiently, and exercise personal responsibility for achieving team goals and fostering a positive team culture.
- Commitment to Professional Growth: Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development and a dedication to following policies and procedures that ensure safe, ethical, and confidential care.
- Relevant Experience and Knowledge: Experience in a service environment with knowledge of community services, welfare benefits, and resources, along with an understanding of patient confidentiality and ethical practices.
