We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Specimen Collector to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD. As a Specimen Collector, you will be responsible for collecting and handling biological specimens for workplace drug and alcohol testing.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and handle biological specimens for workplace drug and alcohol testing
- Maintain the chain of custody of specimens and accurate records of all on-site visits
- Organize the transportation of specimens to laboratories after collection as required
- Experience and training in the health sector, handling biological specimens and/or workplace safety
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clearly defined processes
- Ability to solve problems and issues logically and communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to build rapport with a diverse audience and customers and provide excellent customer service
- Ability to operate technology effectively such as tablets and testing equipment
- Ability to operate ethically and strictly maintain privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to work in a timely manner
