We are seeking an experienced Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander male to join our team as a Cultural Consultant/SEWB Practitioner. This role requires a strong understanding of health and social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
About the TeamYou will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that prioritizes cultural sensitivity and awareness. Our team works collaboratively to provide holistic services to clients from diverse backgrounds.
This role involves developing internally as an SEWB framework specialist and working in partnership with our practitioners to ensure the provision of culturally appropriate services. You will use your expertise to empower our clients and promote holistic services.
Key Qualifications
- Ability to maintain and build positive working relationships
- Demonstrated understanding of health and social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Experience or interest in working with people with intellectual and other disabilities and/or experiences of trauma
