We are seeking an experienced Senior ICT Systems Administrator to join our team at Robert Walters Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Windows server and desktop technologies, as well as providing automation and security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a Windows server platform, including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, and remote desktop services.
  • Design, test, and deploy new versions of the Windows operating system, build and maintain system images, and integrate with VMware and Citrix VDI Platforms.
  • Integrate and manage security software and configurations.
  • Provide automation for VM images and templates.
  • Monitor VDI performance and optimize tools for a dynamic network environment.
  • Implement MFA solutions and conduct regular system health checks.
  • Develop and manage backup and recovery services for virtualized Windows systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows-related issues.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Systems Engineer with a strong background in system design and integration.

This is a temporary contract opportunity with a leading Federal Government Organisation, based in Brindabella Business Park, Canberra. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a major program focused on enhancing and building ICT systems to support key organisational functions.
