About the Opportunity

As a world leader in ground engineering consulting services, Arup offers a unique opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team.

This role is responsible for leading geotechnical design and assessments at various project stages, collaborating with clients and project engineers to understand project requirements, and managing site investigations and laboratory testing programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients and project engineers to understand project requirements
  • Plan, specify, and manage site investigations and laboratory testing programs
  • Lead and manage small teams to undertake geotechnical design and assessments
  • Assist the Geotechnical leadership team in developing client relationships and training and mentoring geotechnical team members

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in geotechnical design and construction
  • Proven track record in the field of geotechnical design and experience across a range of medium to large-scale projects
  • Experience of leading teams on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Experience of planning, managing, supervising, and interpreting geotechnical investigations
