Salary Estimate: AU$ 65,000 - AU$ 90,000 per annum

About the Role:

As a Laboratory Technician at Healius, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to Australians. Your primary responsibility will be collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients with care and attention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Skills: You will need to demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge in Phlebotomy or hold a Certificate III in Pathology Collection.
• Communication: Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with patients, clinic staff, and couriers on a daily basis.
• Organisation and Time Management: You must be highly organised and able to manage your time effectively, as you will be working autonomously in a solo clinic environment.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: You will be responsible for keeping meticulous records of every patient and sample, ensuring that documentation is completed within strict turnaround times.
• Vacation Requirements: As a Laboratory Technician, you must have evidence of vaccination against vaccine-preventable diseases, such as Hepatitis B, and may require other vaccinations based on location.
