Data Engineering Leader

We're seeking a skilled Data Engineering Manager to lead our data team and drive execution at a high level.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our organization and be part of shaping the future of technology. As a Data Engineering Manager, you will oversee the development of reliable, scalable, and impactful data pipelines that power blockchain analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of data engineers, guiding them in their career development and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable data for decision-making.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architectural decisions to drive technical excellence.
- Promote innovation while balancing operational excellence in data engineering practices.
- Explore AI-driven approaches to improve development efficiency and modernize workflows.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proven experience in managing teams, with a track record of coaching, mentoring, and growing data engineers.
- Strong data architecture, modeling, and pipeline development skills, with 7+ years of hands-on data experience.
- Deep proficiency in SQL within modern data warehouse environments (Snowflake, Big Query, Databricks, etc.).
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Scala), with the ability to guide and review technical work.
- Experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow, Dagster, DBT) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with data provenance, governance, and big data technologies (including open-source solutions).
