Manufacturing Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our team at Visy. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating production machines and associated equipment for the manufacture of cardboard packaging.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
  • Operate production machines and associated equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
  • Assist with job changes and associated tasks to maintain production flow.
  • Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers.
  • Participate in housekeeping duties and other ad hoc tasks required to maintain a clean and organized production environment.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a production role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including clear communication, self-confidence, teamwork, and collaboration.
  • Ability to work under pressure and display a good eye for detail, particularly in quality control.
  • Performance-driven attitude, with a willingness to adapt to changes in the workplace and learn new skills, processes, and procedures.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
