Job Overview:

The Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner seek an Investigator for their busy Discipline and Suitability team.

About the Position

As an Investigator, you will be responsible for investigating complaints about lawyers, their fitness to practise, and related litigation/regulatory responses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling investigations into complaints about lawyers;
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders;
  • Progressing matters in a timely and appropriate fashion.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills;
  • Qualifications and some investigations experience in a relevant environment;
  • A tertiary qualification in law will be highly regarded.
