Job Description

We are seeking expressions of interest from casual online tutors who are passionate about teaching and have specialist knowledge and skills in the fields of Business, STEM, Health, Justice, or Creative disciplines. As a casual online tutor, you will be part of our teaching team and will be responsible for delivering high-quality online teaching and learning experiences to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver online teaching and learning experiences that meet the needs of our students
  • Implement approaches that maximise student engagement and learning outcomes
  • Provide academic support, mentoring, and advice to students
  • Apply disciplinary expertise to consult, facilitate discussions, mark assessment items, and provide feedback to students
  • Act as the first point of contact in managing student issues or complaints
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor degree and relevant professional/industry work experience
  • Ability to undertake a range of teaching duties in an online environment
  • Ability to actively engage and educate a diverse student group
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use digital techniques required for effective online teaching
  • Ability to work outside of normal working hours and on weekends
