Aeroskills Engineer

This is a full-time role based in our Brisbane workshop, requiring the holder to comply and qualify under our Drugs and Alcohol Policy.
Salary PackageWe offer a competitive salary package including AUD $90,000 - AUD $110,000 per annum, plus overtime available. Additionally, you will enjoy a 9-Day fortnight, clean and safe working environment with a close-knit team, training and career development opportunities, social activities including participation in community support events, and onsite car parking.
Job DescriptionThe applicant needs to hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or an Australian recognised Aircraft Trade qualification, with at least 2 years of experience in an engine overhaul environment. Ideally but not essential, you will have experience on PT6 engine models along with a working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney Canada publications including overhaul and maintenance manuals, parts catalogues and service bulletins.
You need to be committed to being a highly customer-focused team worker, who can demonstrate flexibility when required, be motivated and willing to take on new initiatives. You will also be a self-starter and have excellent communication skills.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must:
- Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or an Australian recognised Aircraft Trade qualification;
- Have at least 2 years of experience in an engine overhaul environment;
- Possess experience on PT6 engine models (ideally);
- Show a working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney Canada publications.
