About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Valuations Senior Manager to join our Corporate Finance team at BDO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert valuation services to our clients, including business valuations, equity valuations, and purchase price allocations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact directly with senior management of our clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored valuation solutions.
  • Perform complex valuations, including derivatives and infrastructure valuations, to provide accurate and reliable results.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients and mentor junior staff members to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Be actively involved in business development and cultivate long-term client relationships to drive growth and revenue.
  • Develop and manage divisional strategic tasks to ensure the team's goals and objectives are met.
Requirements
  • Experience in a Valuation Services role in an accounting and advisory firm with a focus on client advisory, people management, and engagement management.
  • Advanced valuation and research skills, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a dedicated valuations role.
  • Great communication and report writing skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • A degree with an outstanding academic record from a leading Australian or overseas university or business school in a field such as Accounting, Management, Commerce, Business, or Finance.
