We are partnered with a prominent Global organization based in Brisbane to fill a Quality Scientist role within their team. Our client excels in commercial and clinical manufacturing across the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Life Science industries.

The successful candidate will report directly to the quality leader and be responsible for ensuring that technical transfer and validation processes adhere to quality and regulatory standards. This role involves interacting with clients and providing support for QC equipment to ensure compliance.

This is a casual temporary position to cover maternity leave, and it's exclusively based in Brisbane.

About the Role:
  • Client management on specific projects, including managing expectations and challenges
  • Preparation of batch documentation/data, review protocols, and reports
  • Investigation and evaluation of new methods/techniques and control activities management
  • Liaison with internal stakeholders, specifically QC laboratory teams, to issue relevant test methods for routine use
  • Authoring analytical method transfer, feasibility, qualification, and validation protocols and reports in line with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Practical application of the Quality System, Change Control, Deviations, CAPAs, and Document Management related to the Quality Control Department
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology)
  • Familiarity with GMP, NATA, and cGMP
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with diverse people and perspectives
  • Proven record of teamwork and independent work
  • Effective communication skills in multiple modalities (e.g., electronic, written, verbal)
  • Knowledge of working with test method development, qualification, validation
  • Experience in laboratory testing techniques, assay development, or analytical method validation for the manufacturing industry
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This remuneration package reflects the importance of this role in our organization and its contribution to our success.

Location:
